Titanfall 2's latest free DLC adds a game-changing feature when it releases June 27 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
According to Respawn's latest blog post, the new add-on content, titled The War Games, finally let pilots equip a third weapon slot.
In addition to the standard primary and secondary weapon slots, players can also now bring an anti-titan weapon onto the battlefield. Meaning, you will no longer have to choose between a pistol or an anti-titan item.
The War Games also features two new maps, the first of which is also called War Games. It's a simulated battlezone featuring multistory buildings and open tank garage facilities for pilot battles, as well as wide-open city streets for titan combat.
The second new map, a weathered test site called Traffic, is for Titanfall 2's small-area pilots-only Life Fire mode.
Other new additions include a new pilot execution named Shadow Boxing and an undefined new mode titled Free Agent. Respawn will share more details about Free Agent, and the rest of The War Games' new content, closer to its launch.
