This kit is more focused on the chemistry of slime creation, but that doesn't mean it isn't kind of gross. It's polymer science, so it includes a lab station and goggles, but you'll need to provide your own clipboard and lab coat if you want to really sell the scientist look.

You can't just conjure slime from thin air, it requires some ingredients. Unless you want your slime to dry out (and you don't because then it isn't slime) you need to store it somewhere. This 12-pack of 12-ounce storage jars include caps and are advertised specifically for slime storage. But you could probably store other things in them, like buttons or other smaller jars.
This glue is specifically formulated for slime making. Can Elmer's say that? We're asking, because we honestly don't know. But since non-toxic glue is a big part of the slime making formula, this is a great choice, especially if you plan on making a bunch of slime. You don't need to buy a kit to make slime; you can do it yourself with some common household ingredients. The benefit of the kit comes in detailed instructions, pre-measured ingredients, and tools and mixing accouterments. But if you really want to get down and dirty with the slime, you'll need these ingredients: borax, glue, and water.
Basically all the slime recipes, even in the kits, are based on and around the chemical actions of borax. Borax isn't to be trifled with, but it isn't volatile or as hazardous as something like lye. Still, don't go flinging this stuff around. Mix a teaspoon in a cup of water and in a separate bowl mix up some glue with some more water. When everything is nice and smooth, add the borax and water solution to the glue and water solution and BAM. Slime.
