The next update for Playerunknown's Battlegrounds will adjust the game's loot system, as well as add two weapons in addition to other changes.
According to a developer post, Bluehole Studio discovered a bug causing certain items to spawn more or less than the studio intended. As a result, the latest Battlegrounds update will see adjustments made both to address the bug and user feedback on particular weapons. Bluehole will continue to make adjustments as needed.
For the next update, the VSS will no longer appear in Care Packages but will still be spawned on the map. There will also be a low probability chance of collecting AR Silencers,SR Silencers, and 4x Scopes from Care Packages. A new weapon, the Groza, will also be added to Care Packages.
This new update will also fix certain weapon and spawn rates in-world. Now, the UMP and SCAR-L will spawn at a lower rate, while the Uzi's spawn rate is being increased. The Level 1 Helmet will now also spawn at the same rate as the Level 1 Vest.
