Death Stranding Will Not Be at E3, Hideo Kojima Confirms

"Apologies to our fans".

Death Stranding will not be shown off at this year's E3, creator Hideo Kojima has confirmed.

Taking to Twitter, Kojima apologised that development has taken priority over any new footage:

That said, Kojima himself will be appearing on Geoff Keighley's YouTube Live Show, which means we may yet learn some new details in interview form. It proves to be an interesting interview, as he'll be talking to the upcoming Metal Gear Solid movie director, Jordan Vogt-Roberts:

Kojima also included a new teaser image - a poster featuring the game title, a star-shaped spiderweb, and the word "Bridges" - a word we last saw written on Guillermo del Toro's character's badge in the game's second trailer:

Perhaps bridges are the the third part of Kojima's repeated "stick and rope" analogies? We still know very little about what Death stranding will turn out to be - but here's everything we do know.

Joe Skrebels is IGN's UK News Editor, and this is DEFINITELY an ARG. Trust him on Twitter.
