During the 2015 World Championships, Nintendo revealed a 3DS game called Blast Ball, which bears a striking resemblance to the 2006 DS game Metroid Prime Hunters.
The first-person multiplayer game showed off a 3v3 match where each player hopped into a mech suit and shot at a giant ball, trying to score into their opponent's goal. You can attack other mechs, charge up your shot for a stronger attack, and jump in the way of the ball and sacrifice yourself to prevent the other team from scoring.
Blast Ball is another addition to Nintendo's recent push into eSports, which includes online Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U, Splatoon, and the Nintendo World Championships.
