Hitman: Game of the Year Edition Announced

Available on November 7.

Hitman: Game of the Year Edition has been announced, and it's coming out in just a few weeks.

According to developer Io Interactive, the Game of the Year Edition will be released on November 7 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC and is priced at $60. It comes packaged with all previously released content of the first season of Hitman, including all seven locations, all bonus missions and Challenge Packs.

There will also be plenty of new content for players to look forward to, such as new Escalation Contracts, a new UI,  new lighting and graphical enhancements, and a Clown suit to try out. Also included is the new "Patient Zero" campaign, featuring four missions spanning familiar locations (albeit dressed up differently), with new dialogue, briefings and audio tracks.

For those who already own everything from Season One, you can purchase the upcoming new content via a $20 "GOTY Upgrade" that IO Interactive is offering.

Earlier this year, Io Interactive officially became an independent studio and acquired the rights to its stealth-action franchise Hitman after Square Enix parted ways with the studio. This is its first project in the post-Square period.
