Square Enix Partners With Bulletstorm Dev for AAA Game

The new game won't be shown at E3 2017.

Bulletstorm developer People Can Fly is working on a new, AAA game that will be published by Square Enix, the companies announced today.

The project will be an original title for consoles and PC, according to the announcement. No further details were revealed at this time, though Square Enix noted the game won't be part of the company's E3 2017 lineup. "We’re massively excited to be working with the talented team at PCF in Warsaw, a studio filled with people who really know their craft," said Lee Singleton, head of Square Enix's London Studios. "We’re building a game we all want to play which will be the perfect addition to our portfolio."

People Can Fly is best known for its 2011 action game, Bulletstorm, and its subsequent remaster, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, which came to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC earlier this year. The Polish studio also co-developed Gears of War: Judgment alongside Epic Games.
