Rebels Exec Producer Shoots Down Ahsoka Fan Theory

Character's fate is still unclear.

Star Wars Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni has debunked a major Ahsoka Tano fan theory.

Warning: SPOILERS for Star Wars Rebels follow...

At the end of Star Wars Rebels: Season 2, Ahsoka's true fate was unclear. Though it didn't seem like the character was killed off, fans have theorized Ahsoka entered a different state of Force consciousness. Season 4's first trailer sparked speculation that Ahsoka was reincarnated as a Loth-Wolf, a predator on Ezra Bridger's home planet of Lothal.

In the trailer, Ezra's teacher, Kanan Jarrus, is seen petting a Loth-Wolf in, what seems like, a Force temple. Some fans believe Kanan was actually interacting with Ahsoka. However, Filoni took to Twitter to shoot down this theory, confirming Ahsoka is definitely not the wolf.

Ahsoka's whereabouts remains a mystery. Fans might find out more about her fate when Star Wars Rebels returns this fall on Disney XD. The fourth and final season will run 15 episodes, with Filoni promising that Season 4 "is unlike anything else we've ever done. It's different. A little dark, a little fun..."
