Nintendo has announced that a Pokemon-centric Nintendo Direct will be broadcast tomorrow, Tuesday June 6 at 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm UK (or 12am AEST on June 7).
Revealed first on the Nintendo Japan website, there's no more specific indication of what might be coming from the broadcast.
That hasn't stopped the internet immediately jumping to the conclusion that this broadcast will see the reveal of Pokemon Stars, the long-rumoured iteration on Pokemon Sun and Moon, supposedly set to make the step up from 3DS to Switch. Developer Game Freak was hiring for a console game recently, after all.
There's also the chance that this will be a (slightly less exciting) round-up of pre-E3 Pokemon news, as the likes of Magikarp Jump and Pokeland are released and announced.
We're also coming up to the first anniversary of Pokemon Go's July 6 release - we already know Niantic is planning to introduce legendary Pokemon and PvP play to the game this summer.
Whatever it turns out to be, we'll be watching live tomorrow, and will have all the news for you as soon as it arrives.
