Metal Gear Concert Coming to Japan, North America, Europe

Featuring the voice of Donna Burke.

Metal Gear in Concert, an orchestral event featuring music from Konami's beloved stealth action series, is coming to Japan, North America and Europe.

According to the concert's official site (via Metal Gear Informer), Metal Gear in Concert will premiere in Japan at the Orix Theater in Osaka on July 30. A performance at the Tokyo International Forum in Tokyo will follow on August 2. Tickets will be priced at 9,500 yen.

There are plans to expand outside Japan with a world tour in Europe and North America sometime thereafter.

Nicholas Buc will serve as the conductor, with singer Donna Burke, whose voice is featured in the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain song Sins of the Father, as well as Heavens Divide from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

Metal Gear isn't the only video game concert on the horizon, as the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour is headed to the United States this June, complete with exclusive voice acted story sequences.
