An image of an as yet unannounced gold PlayStation 4 has appeared online.
Sony has not formally unveiled any such model, but reports about the gold-colored console have popped up on Reddit. It's thought the 1TB slim edition will release on June 9, 2017.
"I work at Target and it looks like the PS4 gold is coming June 9th. Shows up on our equipment," writes Reddit member Sliye.
"This Walmart put them out early," Reddit user Christopher_Maxim said. "Register locked up when I tried to buy one and the staff realized their mistake. I snagged a pic before they brought them out back."
While no price has been confirmed, a photo of the bundle spotted in Walmart pegs the price at around $250 USD. Gold PlayStation 4 controllers are also currently for sale via some US retail stores.
June's list of free PlayStation Plus games has been revealed, with Square Enix's Life Is Strange and Tripwire Interactive's Killing Floor 2 headlining the list.
