Time to get your Survivor Series on!
Tonight is all about the battle for WWE brand supremacy as RAW roster faces off against the guys and gals from SmackDown Live in a strangely-stacked card (Triple H, Angle, Shane, Cena, etc) featuring AJ Styles squaring off Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair taking on Alexa Bliss, The Usos battling The Bar, two huge 5-on-5 Elimination matches, and more!
I'll have the results posting for you here all night, along with my quick thoughts and reactions to each match, so stick around, chat with your neighbors down in the comments, and follow me over at @TheMattFowler as I live-tweet the event as well.
I've decided to pace myself here. We've got three matches before the main four-hour show (gah!) even begins (two of which were added a little over an hour ago) so I want to preserve my precious attention. This was a fine warm up the (meager) crowd match, though it's more important as a win for Elias - who recently had to lose a Guitar on a Pole match to Jason Jordon for the sake of getting Jordan on Team RAW. And Jordan's no longer on Team RAW. So Elias needed a gimme here.
He worked over Matt's arm until he eventually laid him out with the Drift Away. It was all worth it just to hear Renee call Elias "The Drifter" afterwards.
Winner: Elias
As a casual (or not at all) watcher of 205 Live, this match existed to inform me that Enzo is still feuding with Kalisto. And that there's been cake involved. Honestly, I had no idea. And since that was that case, that the two of these guys are still feuding, that means that they're definitely nowhere near ready to take the belt off Enzo. And honestly, it might be the best thing given the eyes Enzo's mouth might be bringing to that show.
Standard warm up match. Nothing to write home about (or even tweet out about). There was some clumsiness at the end involving an exposed middle turnbuckle and Enzo wound up with the win.
Winner, and still WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Enzo Amore
