Luke Skywalker Returns to the Millennium Falcon

Back in the cockpit.

Disney and LucasFilm have unveiled another brief glimpse at Star Wars: The Last Jedi, debuting a fresh TV spot for the next chapter in the Star Wars saga during Game 7 of the Major League Baseball World Series in the US.

You can view the spot yourself here.

The short, 45-second teaser is largely built from snippets of the film we've already seen in previous trailers, although there are a few new shots, including a lingering one of a slightly-spellbound Luke Skywalker reentering the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. The TV spot also reiterated Luke's perturbing line from the previous trailer: "This is not going to go the way you think."

According to Star Wars: The Last Jedi actor Andy Serkis, who plays Supreme Leader Snoke via performance-capture, the trailer released early last month is a good reflection of Episode VIII's darker tone.

“I thought the trailer was spectacular, and very intense. It absolutely reflects the tone and the feel of the movie," said Serkis.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens on December 15, 2017.
