The eShop version of LA Noire for the Nintendo Switch is too big to fit on the internal storage.
Developer Rockstar revealed the news via a post on its support page for LA Noire. The article goes into further detail about the storage requirements, which differ depending on what version of the game you choose to pick up.
If you decide on the physical cartridge version, expect a 14GB download before you can play which contains "required gameplay data" as well as "general bug fixes and improvements"
However, those who opt for a digital copy of LA Noire for their Nintendo Switch will have to purchase a microSD card which is sold separately to the console.
This is because LA Noire's file size is 29gb, just 3gb short of the Nintendo Switch's 32gb internal storage capacity.
As a standard, the console already uses 6.2gb of storage for the system itself, making it impossible to download on a Nintendo Switch without upgrading the internal storage.
Nintendo has had to make clear which games won't fit on its console's relatively small internal storage since the release of NBA 2K18.
As well as the Nintendo Switch, LA Noire will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and Virtual Reality devices.
