CSGO - ZEN League Season 2 Finals
After dozens of matches and oodles of frags, the ZEN League Season 2 Finals took place. The best teams from ANZ and the best teams from South East Asia convened in an area adjacent to Sydney to determine who is the best. The games were full of highlights, like Tainted Minds Yam clutching out this 1 v 3 showdown on Train — which also secured him an Ace for the round.
In the end, however, it was Grayhound Gaming putting together the consistent wins needed to secure the victory. Grayhound secured first place, Tainted Minds came second and Kings were third — heralding the last LAN game for the team for Travis "Wizard" Richardson as he left the roster.
Watch Gratisfaction pop Grayhound up into his papoose to carry them through a tough eco round below.
League of Legends - ESL ANZ S3
The ESL put in some good work making sure we'd still get some League of Legends action while the OPL Off-Season was upon us, and it delivered. The final games for the short season of League action saw Avant take on the Chiefs in a slobberknocker — the best of five series required all five games to determine a victor. Inevitably the Chiefs came out on top — but Avant showed up as a strong threat.
Watch Chiefs ADC Raes turn everything around for his team in the clip below — but know that it wasn't actually enough for the team, as Avant went on to win this game.
CSGO - WEGL Super Fight Invitational 2017
The Chiefs had a strong week! Their CSGO team lingered in South Korea following the IESF World Championships, doing their best to secure the lion's share of the $48,000(ish) AUD prize pool. They wound up falling short before the might of Vici Gaming in a close 2-1 match-up, with the Aussie team winning the first map before losing the second two in nail-biting fashion — just a single win away from forcing overtime in both the last two maps. Watch Alistair win a tense 1v3 like the clutch-master he is below.
