When Did We Last See Pokemon for Nintendo Switch?
Officially, we haven’t heard much about the Pokemon for Nintendo Switch project since the reveal at last year’s E3. That said, there have been plenty of rumors over the past year, including the very recent ones that that this year’s Pokemon game will be a pair of remakes of Pokemon Yellow called Pokémon Let’s Go! Eevee Edition and Pokémon Let’s Go! Pikachu Edition.
Why We’re Excited for Pokemon for Nintendo Switch
Nintendo has absolutely killed it with the first year of the Switch. That said, they have to keep the momentum going, and the Pokemon Switch game they revealed at last year’s E3 is the perfect way to do that. Plus, the hybrid nature of the Switch makes for such an interesting evolution of the classic series. That said, we’re super curious to see just what the next Pokemon game is going to be. Will it be a core entry in the series? A spin-off? A remake of an older game? Will it have some sort of integration with the massively-popular Pokemon Go? Only time will tell.
Will Pokemon for Nintendo Switch Be at E3 2018?
It’s not a guarantee, but it’s a safe bet. Obviously Super Smash Bros. for Switch is going to be Nintendo’s big focus at E3, but it would make sense to get status updates on the Pokemon and Metroid projects that were teased last year.
