Xbox Preview Program Rebranded, Now Open to All

Welcome to the Xbox Insider Program.

Microsoft has rebranded its Xbox Preview Program and opened access to everyone who wishes to join.

While the program—now dubbed Xbox Insider Program—previously required an invite for early access to Xbox One's forthcoming features and apps, everyone will be able to gain access by simply opting into the program.

Users will be able to access the new features through the Xbox Insider Hub, a revamped version of the Xbox Preview Dashboard that contains announcements and early access to upcoming apps and games. It also sports a brand-new interface that's reminiscent of the New Xbox One Experience.

Xbox system updates, however, won't be available for new members. These updates will remain limited to those already testing them, as Microsoft still has "a huge number of volunteers already doing a great job testing and providing feedback."

The new Xbox Insider Hub will begin rolling out to all existing Xbox Preview members over the next few weeks, with a small selection of the most active members getting access now.
