Major spoilers for The Walking Dead, both TV show and comics, continue below. Read on at your own risk.
The Walking Dead finally let Negan deliver his killer blow in the Season 7 premiere, "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be," and it turned out he actually had two deaths to serve up.
Both Abraham and Glenn got some serious face time with Lucille, as Negan offed both of the key members of Rick's group in an effort to show the leader of Alexandria who really is in charge. By contrast, only Glenn was killed in issue 100 of Robert Kirkman's comics.
Click on the arrow to progress through and see how the TV show's major kills compare to Glenn's in the comics. Due to the graphic nature of both The Walking Dead comics and TV show, the slideshow below contains M-rated, violent imagery and strong language.
That it was two deaths instead of just one in and of itself is a pretty major deviation from the comics, but beyond that the depictions of the murders are pretty similar. Even Negan's dialogue matches up closely between the two mediums, though the TV show dragged out the deaths longer than the comic did.
