This Is When You Can Play the Division

When you can play it and where.

Wondering when you can actually play The Division this week? Well, Ubisoft has prepared a handy guide.

The game is officially set to release worldwide on March 8. However, The Division won't actually launch on Xbox One and PS4 until 5 a.m. PST. PC players will have to wait slightly longer, with a start time of 9 a.m. PST.

That's if you buy the game physically. Folks in the US or Canada who ordered it digitally can start playing at the following times:

  • Xbox One will be available on March 8 at 00:01 am in each country's local time (00:01 am EST for USA and Canada)
  • PlayStation 4 will be available on March 8 starting from 00:01 am in each country’s local time (00:01 EST for USA and Canada)
  • PC will be available worldwide on March 8 at 6 am CET / 12 am EST / March 7, 9 pm PST

Digital buyers can begin pre-loading now (unless you live in Japan), with the download size clocking in between 26.9 and 34.4 GB "depending on your platform and region." So plan accordingly based on your console and internet speeds.

PlayStation 4 and PC players will have to wait even further to play the game's expansions. It was revealed today that The Division DLC is a timed Xbox One exclusive. Other platforms won't get the content for up to one month after release.

The full, somewhat confusing breakdown can be found on The Division's official website. There you can also find patch notes on what's changed between the last open beta and final release.
