Hearthstone's Wild-Only Card Packs and Adventures are Available to Buy Again

Let your collection run Wild.

Ahead of its upcoming Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion, Blizzard has implemented some changes to Hearthstone’s card packs and made its Wild expansions available to buy for the first time since the Standard format was introduced.

While you still can’t buy Wild card packs or adventures in-game or with gold, you are now able to buy them directly from the online Blizzard store with real money. This includes card packs for the Goblins vs Gnomes, Grand Tournament, and League of Explorers expansions, as well as the Curse of Naxxramas and Blackrock Mountain adventures. Cards from these sets are still only usable in the Wild format.

Blizzard also pushed through a couple of previously announced changes to card pack drops. Starting today, you won’t be able to open a copy of a legendary card you already have, and won’t be able to get more than two copies of the same card in a single pack.

IGN recently revealed the new Priest legendary minion from Knights of the Frozen Throne, which is one of the crazier cards shown from the expansion so far. You can also learn more about the new set right here.
