Apple has revealed a $300 USD hardcover book that chronicles the design of Apple products through 450 photographs.
Titled Designed By Apple in California, the book contains images of Apple products from the last two decades, including photographs of the design process and finished products. The images were captured by photographer Andrew Zuckerman, according to Apple, and the book is dedicated to late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.
In an excerpt from the book's foreword, Apple Chief Design Officer Jony Ive wrote: "While this is a design book, it is not about the design team, the creative process or product development. It is an objective representation of our work that, ironically, describes who we are. It describes how we work, our values, our preoccupations and our goals. We have always hoped to be defined by what we do rather than by what we say."
The book will be available tomorrow in two sizes: small (10.20” x 12.75”) for $200 USD and large (13” x 16.25”) for $300 USD . The photo book will be sold at select Apple stores in select markets across the world.
In other Apple news, the tech giant is reportedly exploring the possibility of creating augmented reality glasses and a bendable, foldable iPhone.
