While Nintendo's upcoming micro-console doesn't support your original NES controllers out of the box, Hyperkin will release an adapter later this month that allows you to hook up your original controller to the NES Classic Edition.
The 6-inch adapter, priced at $10, is compatible with both NES controllers and joysticks. In addition to working with the NES Classic, the adapter will also let you connect your original NES controllers to your Wii U or Wii.

Hyperkin will also release a controller extension cable for $8, which adds 6 feet of extra cord length to the NES Classic Controller. In addition to supporting NES Classic Controllers, the cord will work with Hyperkin's aforementioned adapter.
Both accessories are expected to ship on November 28, and are currently available for pre-order at HyperkinLab.com.
