Analogue NT Mini: $450 HDMI & RGB-enabled NES Announced

The mini edition of the Analogue NT is 20% smaller and works with lots of Nintendo games.

Analogue, the company behind premium retro goods, announced a mini edition of the company’s HDMI and RGB-enabled console based off of the Nintendo Entertainment System.

The all-in-one Analogue NT Mini plays game cartidges made for the NES and Japanese Famicom lag free and with zero signal degradation, according to the hardware maker. It has a built-in port for the Famicom Disk Systrem. The NT Mini can also support up to four players, and comes bundled with a bluetooth-enabled NES30 controller.

The console also comes with a Retro Receiver -- a wireless accessory that Analogue made in partnership with 8bitdo. The receiver supports multiple bluetooth-enabled controllers including Sony’s PS4 DualShock 3, DualShock 4, the Wii Remote, and a Wii U Pro Controller.

Similar to the original Analogue NT, the system is made from solid block of 6061 aluminum and comes in a classic aluminum finish or black. The mini is 20% smaller than the prior version. The Analogue NT Mini is available for pre-order on the company’s website.

Analogue also announced Retro Receiver for the SNES last July. The company also made an ultra-limited run of the Analogue NT in 24-karat gold to celebrate Zelda’s 30th anniversary.
