Studio Ghibli Burger Coming to Japanese Art Exhibit

Even the lettuce has been turned black.

A Studio Ghibli art exhibit opening at the Tokyo City View in Japan will offer Studio Ghilbi fans a chance to try, among other items, an official Makkuro Kurosuke burger based on the soot sprites from various Studio Ghibli films.

The museum's restaurant will serve a whole menu of Studio Ghibli–themed food, allowing visitors to choose from several other options if, for some reason, this burger doesn't look appetizing:

If we're talking the most delicious-looking anime food, this Studio Ghibli burger likely won't make the cut.

The images come from Japanese site Natalie (via Kotaku). Alongside the "pitch-black" burger, fans will find egg on toast, from Castle In the Sky, and a range of colorful parfaits.

Studio Ghibli's black burger isn't the first to make its way to IGN. During a trip to Japan, IGN un-boxed the Kuro Diamond from Burger King. It was weird.
