It's Always Sunny Renewed for Seasons 13 and 14

The gang is here to stay.

Comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has been renewed for a thirteenth and fourteen season, FX Productions has announced.

"Few shows make it this far or have such devoted fans, and we owe it all to the creative vision and great humor of the creators and cast who keep Sunny fresh and inventive every season," FX Productions exec Nick Grad said in a press release.

When Season 14 airs, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia will tie The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet's record as the longest-running live-action TV comedy of all time. The network announced that Season 11 marked It's Always Sunny's best ratings since its arrival on FXX from FX.

A special PaleyLive celebration event for the series will be held tonight at 7pm PT at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills, and features a panel discussion with the show's creative team and cast.

Season 12 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia premieres in early 2017. In the meantime, check out IGN's review of the Season 11 finale.
