Now Hiring Freelancers to Cover The PC's Most Popular Games

Winner winner.

IGN is looking for freelancers interested in contributing to regular coverage of the PC’s biggest games. Specifically, we’re looking for people well-versed in any of the following games:

  • Overwatch
  • PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
  • League of Legends
  • Dota 2
  • CS:GO
  • People who can confidently write news about any (or at least a few) of the top 25 most played games on Steam, including GTA 5, Warframe, H1Z1, ARK: Survival Evolved, Payday 2, Rocket League, Fallout 4, Civilization 5 and 6, Terraria, Rainbow Six Siege, Paladins, and more.

Right now we aren’t looking for feature, editorial, or opinion pitches about these games. We want to hear from people interested in doing more regular coverage on news, hot community topics, and exciting moments within each game.

If you are interested, fill out this application form, select that you are interested in news, and please mention one or more of the gamesabove in your text or we won't see it. Please include a brief history of your experience with the games you’d like to write about and at least two writing examples. Submissions without examples will not be considered -- even work published to a personal blog is fine.

We're also hiring for full-time positions in both Los Angeles and San Francisco, you can learn more about those roles right here.
