Mob Psycho 100 Anime to Continue at Studio Bones

Season 2 coming soon?

The anime adaptation of ONE's webcomic Mob Psycho 100 will continue at studio Bones.

According to Twitter user liborek3 (via Crunchyroll), the animation studio announced that a "new Mob Psycho project is moving forward" during an event this past weekend.

The event featured 35mm format screenings of three films produced by Bones, including Fullmetal Alchemist: Conquer of Shamballa, Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door and Sword of the Stranger.

Season 1 of Bones' anime adaption of Mob Psycho 100 premiered last July and ranks as one of IGN's top 5 anime of summer 2016. While there are currently very few details regarding this "new Mob Psycho project," Bones is presumably continuing the story with a second season.

In addition to Mob Psycho 100, Bones is behind a number of other beloved anime series, including My Hero Academia, Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater and Cowboy Bebop. For more on Bones, find out how the studio maintains My Hero Academia's great animation.
