Microsoft Reportedly Stops Selling Original Xbox One

Has the original Xbox One been discontinued?

With Xbox One X on the not too distant horizon, it appears Microsoft has stopped selling the original Xbox One in favor of shifting its entire sales focus to the S and X models.

Microsoft's UK online store lists the console as sold out, while its US store only has listing for a refurbished version.

The company ceased manufacturing of the original Xbox One several months ago, but until now, the console was still available for purchase though Microsoft's online store.

This isn't particularly surprising given the impending arrival of Xbox One X, which set a new preorder record for the company, as well as upcoming Minecraft and Shadow of War Xbox One S bundles, which were unveiled earlier this week at Gamescom.
