Disney Survey Hints at Star Wars Hotel With Lightsaber Training

The choices for the survey questions are hopefully all just "yes."

If your biggest complaint about hotels is they aren't Star Wars themed, a recent survey on Disney's behalf points to the possibility of a very real Star Wars hotel experience.

According to Disney news site WDW News Today, a survey of guests includes "concept art and many details" of what the future could hold.

Instead of merely sleeping and showering in an ordinary hotel room, the survey points to a fantastical future where guests would instead spend two nights not only staying in a replica star ship, but living out an interactive Star Wars story.

The story would run non-stop during the duration of the guests' stay, and could include "personal interactions with Star Wars characters," with participation in the story active or passive, depending on guest preference.

In other words, you could either help the characters complete the story, or you could simply watch it all play out while you enjoy "buffet breakfasts, lunches, and signature evening dining." Both sound pretty excellent, honestly.

Lightsaber training, flight missions, and "personalized secret missions" could also find their way into the possible Star Wars hotel.

Keep in mind, this is only a survey, and represents the earliest levels of planning. Survey takers could turn their noses up at the idea of living inside an immersive Star Wars world for 2 whole days. It seems really unlikely, though, because come on.

Star Wars Celebration 2017 just wrapped in Orlando, FL, and the event gave us our first look at The Last Jedi teaser trailer.
