World of Warcraft: Legion Patch Adds New Raid

A whole lot of content is headed to Legion.

During today's World of Warcraft: Legion panel at BlizzCon 2016, Blizzard outlined a host of new features coming in Patch 7.2, including a brand-new raid, as well as the addition of flying around the Broken Isles.

The new raid, dubbed Tomb of Sargeras, which features a total of nine bosses, is where players will explore the depths of the tomb and harness the Pillars of Creation. A new four-boss dungeon called Cathedral of Eternal Night is coming as well.

Additionally, Patch 7.2 adds the ability to fly in the Broken Isles, with new Epic Mounts coming for each class, all of which are flying enabled. The patch also marks the return to the Broken Shore, continuing the Class Order Campaign, as well as adding new quests and introducing a new faction: Armies of Legionfall.

Before the launch of Patch 7.2, Blizzard will release a smaller update, dubbed Patch 7.15, which brings back Brawler's Guild, featuring new bosses and a new currency. The patch is also adding "micro-holidays" which will provide fun diversions from the core game, as well as class updates that increase talent diversity, fine tune secondary stats, and add class-specific utilities.

There was no specific release date for either patch, with 7.1.5 arriving "soon" and launching on the Public Test Realm right after BlizzCon.

At the conclusion of the panel, Blizzard also hinted that players will be headed to Argus at some point in the future, but did not offer any other details beyond that tease.

In the meantime, be sure to check out IGN's BlizzCon 2016 hub for all the big news coming out of Blizzard's event, including the announcement that two WoW characters are headed to Heroes of the Storm.
