Star Trek: Discovery Reportedly Casts Michelle Yeoh

CBS has yet to confirm her involvement.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon's Michelle Yeoh will reportedly star in the upcoming CBS All Access television series Star Trek: Discovery.

While the network has yet to confirm Yeoh's involvement, consulting producer Nicholas Meyer told ComingSoon.net: "I know Michelle Yeoh is in it."

After a four-month delay, Star Trek: Discovery will premiere this coming May. Executive producer Bryan Fuller recently stepped down as series showrunner, but will remain involved in the project.

Coming Soon's initial report suggests Yeoh could potentially star as the female lead in Star Trek: Discovery, playing a Lieutenant Commander, however this is unconfirmed. When reached for comment regarding Yeoh's reported casting, a representative for CBS told IGN "We are not commenting or confirming casting at this time."
