Spider-Man Star Tom Holland on Marvel Movie Contract


Fans can expect to see plenty more of Tom Holland as the web-slinging hero in future MCU films.

In addition to his leading role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter Parker star Tom Holland is on board for several more appearances in the MCU, and has now shed light on just how many.

"I have three Spider-Man movies and three solo movies contracted," Holland told The Hollywood Reporter. The actor noted that Marvel has given him options that "could be exercised whenever," using a cameo in Avengers as an example.

With regard to which upcoming MCU movies he's set to appear in, Holland didn't provide any specific films, saying he's "unclear" at the moment.

He also praised the folks at Marvel for their flexibility in working around the schedule of their actors, saying "they're very respectful of your life, really. They understand that you have to work on other movies, and they try and fix it up so you can work around each other."

Spider-Man: Homecoming opens in theaters on July 7, 2017, and will co-star Michael Keaton as Vulture. For more on Sony and Marvel's upcoming solo film, find out what Holland had to say about the possibility of a sequel.
