New to Netflix in November

Gilmore Girls' return, The 100: Season 3, The Jungle Book, Paddington, and more.

November looks to be a monumentally busy month for Netflix as their original programming just keeps flooding in. Not only is there the Gilmore Girls revival, but period drama The Crown as well.

And those are just the most notable Netflix Originals - there are so many more. Roman Empire: Reign of Blood? Tales by Light? The Ivory Game? Mercy? Almost half of this list is comprised of Netflix's own movie and series programming.

As for the other half, The 100: Season 3 arrives, along with movies like Boyhood, Ravenous, Paddington, Burn After Reading, The African Queen, Cujo, The Doors and more.

Titles and dates are for US only and subject to change.

Available 11/1/16

  • Ravenous (1999)
Wk5vivYJAbOa

With an unsettlingly great score by Michael Nyman and Blur's Damon Albarn, Ravenous is one of those "how in the hell did this get made?" movies - and we mean that in the best possible way. Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle star in this weird, gory story of an 1840s California fort stalked by a super-strong Donner Party-esque cannibal. Eat to live, don't live to eat.

  • The 100: Season 3
mGvXlvknNo4q

The 100's third season is finally arriving on Netflix, and if you were somehow expecting the show to lighten up and not play things too dark, then - heh - you just don't know The 100. This season, Clarke, Bellamy, Raven, and the rest of the scrappy, bickering Skaikru had to contend with Grounders, savage members of their own group who were determined to wipe out the Grounders, and the actual artificial intelligence responsible for the destruction of most of the human race.

All while Linklater wrote and developed the story during production, using previously shot footage and performances to inspire the next part of the script.
