A new demo for Final Fantasy XV is coming to Japan, Square Enix has announced.

FFXV director Hajime Tabata shared the news during the latest Active Time Report (via Kotaku), noting that the demo is called Final Fantasy XV Judgement Disc and features the final retail build of the game.

The demo covers the opening of the game and concludes during the middle portion of Episode One, making for an experience that is between 60 and 90 minutes in length. In addition to being locked on easy mode, the demo has several level and ability restrictions.

When finishing the demo, players will be given the opportunity to purchase the game. Judgement Disc will be available as a digital download, as well as at select in-store demos in Japan.

Final Fantasy XV releases for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29. For more on Square Enix's upcoming RPG, here's what we know about Final Fantasy XV's upcoming multiplayer mode.
