Infinite Warfare: How to Survive Zombies in Spaceland

This page contains information on how to survive the many waves of undead horde attack in the Zombies in Spaceland mode in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

While there is no definitive "endpoint" to a session of Zombies in Spaceland, this page contains a basic introduction to the mode and some important information that will help players succeed in their corpse-slaughtering endeavors.

If you've never ever played a CoD Zombies mode before, here's the short version: you (and maybe some friends) have to survive wave after wave of an undead attack, which become more and more difficult the longer you survive.

There are various perks, guns, upgrades and items scattered around Spaceland that will help you both fend off the undead horde and improve your player level.

In the opening few waves of a round of Zombies, focus on earning as much money in the first small area as you can. Buy another weapon (the M4 is a reliable choice early on), then open the door into the main plaza of the park.

As the rounds progress, the zombies will not only grow in number, but will also move faster and be more difficult to kill. As you need to board up as many windows as possible to keep the undead from flooding in too quickly at the start of the next round, try to leave two slow-moving zombies alive at the end of each round. -- Note, if you keep one zombie alive it will be a sprinter. If you want slow moving zombies, it is best to keep two alive!

In "Zombies in Spaceland" you will find several open areas that are great for farming and training zombies. You can run in a circle around the main teleporter in the middle of the park, or you can do the same in the Kepler System. Farming zombies is a key way to stay alive and earn money, but one wrong move can really put you in a poor spot.

If running circles isn't your thing, you could also try to run through the entire park each round. This requires a lot of spending money and focus as it requires you to open every door in the park. This type of route running is typically useful to the players who like to throw caution to the wind. It's not recommended, but if it's your style and you're good at it go for it!

Honestly, the best way to earn money is by training the undead and getting a big horde of them chasing you. If you do that and then periodically turn around and unload your magazine into the horde, you will rack up points like nothing!

It is also recommended that you hold off on opening anything for the first ~6 rounds. It may seem hard at first, but it's doable. Save up your cash so you can purchase things like Tuff 'Nuff or open all of the teleporters to enable the Pack-A-Punch machine.

The Pack-A-Punch machine improves your weapons and imbues them with special properties (for the low-low-cost of 5000 You must activate the 4 portals around the map. Then you can use the portal in the center area to reach a new area with the punch machine.

This many portals can be found per district: 2 in Oddysey into Space, 1 in Kepler System, 1 in Polar Peak.

  • Astrocade: Head to the arcade room in the Journey Into Space area, then check for power switch on the wall. The portal is right next to the power switch.
  • Galaxy Journey: Still in Journey Into Space, follow the path behind the DJ for the switch. Then backtrack to the DJ to find the portal.
  • Kepler System: When you come from the center of the map you must open the first door on the left in Kepler district and go upstairs. Power switch is on the wall. Go back downstairs for the portal.
  • Polar Peak: Upstairs in the Polar Peak district. Must unlock a door to get upstairs, then find power switch on the wall. Now go back downstairs to find the portal.

EditGetting David hasselhoff to lend you a hand

If you successfully complete all five of N31L's challenges, David Hasselhoff himself will put his DJ'ing on hold and come help you take on the undead horde! He is invulnerable to the zombies (and his aim stinks) and can revive you anytime you go down. He only helps out for a few rounds, so don't take him for granted!

Here's how to unlock N3IL the Robot's challenges:

In Zombies in Spaceland make sure to help out N31L the Robot early on, I suggest in round 2. Simply purchase the first doorway and make your way towards Polar Peak. Just before the ramp you will see an angry robot head, pick it up and then turn around. Now, head past the teleporter and beside the benches will be the robots body. Put his head back on and then start doing N31L's challenges.

Each challenge gives you 45 tickets, which can be used to purchase weapons around the park. N31L and five challenges for you, which in turn will give you 225 tickets. Spend them wisely!
