Dishonored 2: How to Get the Silence Achievement / Trophy

The Silence achievement is one of the Achievements and Trophies that can be unlocked in Mission 4 - The Clockwork Mansion.

Halfway through the mission you will reach the "Clockwork Mansion" which is sort of a palace. In here you have to take out Jindosh, the main target of your mission.

To get the trophy you can't activate any of the switches around the mansion and cannot be seen by enemies. This means you cannot pull the first lever in the main room of the mansion and let the clockwork soldier see you - as Jindosh will know of your arrival. Instead, take the following steps to avoid detection:

• From the room with the lever, use a crossbow bolt on the ceiling glass to make a new exit, and Blink / Far Reach up to the space between the walls.
• Up here, look for a side passage that will drop down into a corridor running alongside the Dining Services.
• Keep following the corridor until you reach a billiard table, and Blink / Far Reach up to a platform above following signs for a Waiting Room.
• Move along the passage past another glass ceiling to a series of windows - and note the two guards on the other side. One guard will alternate facing the middle window and moving back into the room, while another patrols the corridor.
• Wait until the patrolling guard is either moving away, or going down the corridor on the right, and duck past the guard drinking. You can kill or sleep dart the guard if he is walking towards the door, and enter the bedroom.
• From the bedroom, enter the balcony, and drop down onto the pipes below leading to a stone platform with a hatch on the far side.
• Enter the hatch, and then summon the elevator to the fourth floor.
• This fourth floor is where Jindosh resides - and only a single Clockwork soldier should be active. Wait until it moves towards Jindosh's desk while you take the left path along the length of the rotunda. The other clockwork soldier will not activate unless you bump into it.
• At this point you can take out Jindosh lethally with a crossbow - or Blink / Far Reach onto the light fixture above him, and drop down when his Clockwork Soldier is moving back to the elevator.
• If you wish to get this achievement non lethally, choke out Jindosh and carry his body to the lab below, staying out of sight of the soldier above. Place him in the electroshock chair and consult the whiteboard to see how to power up the device. Use the two control panels to bring up the Optics lab and Anatomy lab to free up power for the machine, then electroshock Jindosh.
