Star Wars: Rogue One Gets Earlier UK Release Date

Rogue One: A Story Wars Story is now set to come out December 15 in the United Kingdom, one day earlier than originally planned.

The official Star Wars UK Twitter account announced the release date change for Rogue One. In fact, the same shift forward happened with Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the UK last year.

Star Wars fans in the United States and Canada have to wait until December 16 for Rogue One. But certain European countries, like Belgium and Sweden, get the Rebel-centric film December 14, according to Empire Online.

In the meantime, be sure to check out a collection of Rogue One character posters. They give a good look at the film's cast, including Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, Ben Mendelsohn as Director Orson Krennic and Diego Luna as Cassian Andor.
