Fox's upcoming Wolverine film Logan will indeed feature X-23.
A photo posted on the film's official Instagram account—accompanied by a description that simply reads "Laura"—confirms that the girl featured in the film's debut trailer (played by Dafne Keen) is Laura Kinney, the genetic clone known as X-23 who was created using Logan's DNA.
Last week, Logan director James Mangold spoke with Empire about the film's first teaser trailer. While he refused to confirm reports claiming the girl spotted in the teaser was Laura, he did shed light on where Logan fits into the overall X-Men timeline.
