Suicide Squad Photo Reveals Deleted Joker-Harley Scene

Dysfunctional mad love.

The relationship between Jared Leto's Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn may have originally been a bit more abusive than the final cut of Suicide Squad ultimately portrayed.

Warning: Suicide Squad spoilers below.

The image, which was revealed by Rolling Stone Brazil (via Batman-News), provides an expanded look at the helicopter scene that features Joker and Harley. Earlier this month it was revealed that Suicide Squad had competing cuts, as a lighter version was tested against the director's more somber take. In the end, the lighter, studio-favored option won out.

As such, it stands to reason that Ayer's darker take likely portrayed a more abusive relationship between the two that more closely lines up with Robbie's description of their "incredibly dysfunctional relationship" and Harley's mad love for Joker.
