War Child has revealed the 12 titles slated to appear in the HELP: The Game bundle.
War Child supports and protects children whose lives have been disrupted by war and conflict. HELP: The Game is a game jam which brought together developers and studios all to raise money to support the charity.
"You’ll certainly be familiar with the games these studios have released previously," states the press release, "but might well be surprised with what they have in store for HELP: The Game."
Here's a brief summary of each of the games, complete with brand-new screenshots.
10 Minute Tower – Developed by Team17 (Worms)
"With a little bit of imagination, you can be anything… A mighty robot, a brave knight or even an adventurous astronaut. 10 Minute Tower is a unique tile-based puzzle game that will get your cogs whirring as you take control of a day-dreaming child adventurer trapped within a tower."
Anthelion - Developed by Rovio Sweden AB (Angry Birds 2)
"Super simple mechanic, but highly challenging game play with endless levels that will keep you entertained for hours!"
BlockAid - Developed by Hardlight (Sonic Dash Crazy Taxi: City Rush)
"Provide safe passage to a never ending stream of pawns by placing blocks themed around protection, education and livelihood in this minimalistic puzzler created for the HELP: THE GAME compilation."
Captain Curve’s Intergalactic Space Adventure - Developed by Curve Digital
"A fast-paced endless runner based on daydreams, featuring exciting minigames and different environments. Created as part of the HELP: THE GAME jam for the War Child charity, by Curve Digital."
Emily: Displaced - Developed by Bossa Studios (Surgeon Simulator, I Am Bread)
"A choice-based visual novel about a child affected by war. Children aren't in charge of their lives during war, so the choices you make influence the story, but the final decisions may never be yours."
Malkia - Developed by Sports Interactive (Football Manager)
"Malkia is a unique real-time strategy game set in the fictional Central African country of Kovi, where you help the eponymous hero to grow her business so that she can put food on the family's table and educate her children."
Nevermine - Developed by Torn Banner (Chivalry: Medieval Warfare)

Octamari Rescue - Developed by Sumo Digital (Forza Horizon 2, Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed)

Rise - Developed by Creative Assembly (Total War, Alien Isolation)

Savana - Developed by Modern Dream (LA Cops, Typing of the Dead Overkill)

Splash Bash - Developed by Rovio Sweden AB (Angry Birds 2)
"Splash Bash is a hectic local multiplayer brawler, where up to 4 players tries to bash each other’s into the water using physics based gameplay!"
A Verdant Hue - Developed by Spilt Milk Studios (Tango Fiesta)
"A single screen, laid back farming game, you play as an orphan who's survived recent attacks and is determined to bring back some life to his family farm. Built in a 6 day gamejam for War Child's 'Help: The Game' charity bundle."
The bundle, scheduled for release on July 26, 2016, will be available on Steam for £10.
Through "creative, forward-thinking fundraising activities", studios and gamers have so far raised over £1.5 million for children affected by conflict around the world. For more about charity and the Help: The Game jam, head on over to the official War Child website.
