An FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification for a Sony wireless adapter could point to official support for DualShock 4 controllers on PC.
Spotted by DualShockers, the Wireless Adapter is listed with a "CUH" code, which has been used for all previous PS4 certifications.
The image above - and power specifications in the listing - point to a USB device. It's also explicitly a Bluetooth device, one that closely matches the transceiver inside the PS4 console itself to connect to its DualShock 4 controllers.
While key parts of the listing are being kept confidential until 2017, the most straightforward assumption is that this is an official Sony dongle to be used in connecting PS4 controllers to PC. Microsoft already supports this for both Xbox One and 360 pads, and it's not a stretch to think that Sony may want to allow its huge market of PS4 controllers to its advantage.
Many third-party dongles already allow for DualShock 4 use on PC, but with Sony now officially supporting PC remote play, this seems a sensible move.
Then again, the adapter could have something to do with the upcoming PS4 Neo upgrade, which while confirmed is still the number of a series of rumors.
