The Vixen animated series will return for Season 2 on Thursday, October 13.
TV Insider reports the sophomore season of the DC show will focus on Mari McCabe understanding what it means to be a hero. There are six episodes in total, with each one after the premiere episode going live Fridays on CW Seed.
Vixen will face a new nemesis who possesses a magical totem like hers. Megalyn Echikunwoke voices the titular character and also appeared in a guest role as the superhero on Arrow.
The live-action DC superheroes from the CW shows will apparently go the other way, making guest appearances on the animated Vixen show this season. She'll apparently meet up with Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), The Flash (Grant Gustin) and others.
