Roger Corman's upcoming film Death Race 2050 is headed to New York Comic-Con, and IGN is exclusively revealing the brand-new poster for the film.
The poster will be exclusively available on Thursday, October 6 at NYCC at Corman and the film's star Manu Bennett's autograph signing, which takes place from 5:15 to 6:15pm at Autograph Table 20. Fans will be given the limited edition poster to have it signed by Corman and Bennett. The poster will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Death Race 2050 is directed by G.J. Echternkamp
Death Race 2050 serves as a reboot of the original Death Race 2000 movie, and will be released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD early next year. Those who attend the convention will be able to get an early glimpse of the film during "Roger Corman’s Death Race 2050 -- The Future Is Now" panel just before the autograph signing at 4pm.
Corman and Bennett will be at the panel to look back on the history of the Death Race franchise, as well as reveal the debut trailer and a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the new film.
Death Race 2050 is set in a near-future America controlled by a government that entertains its citizens with brutal virtual-reality competitions. Bennett stars as the reigning Death Race champion, the half-man, half-machine Frankenstein. The film also stars Malcolm McDowell, Burt Grinstead, and Marci Miller, and is directed by G.J. Echternkamp.
