A new Dualshock 4 that features a lightbar across the top of the touchpad will apparently accompany the PS4 Slim.
With Sony's smaller console variant seemingly ending up in the hands of consumers far earlier than planned, unboxings have popped up (and been subsequently pulled down), apparently revealing a new controller to go with the new hardware.
Some reports suggest that the new Dualshock also features a grey D-Pad, sticks and face and shoulder buttons. Twitter user shortman82 - whose PS4 Slim was photographed yesterday - explains that it looks as though the new touchpad lightbar uses the existing internal LED:
@Jed05 I am not sure that it's an additional light, It looks to be just a slim see through part on the touchpad which lets light through.

IGN has contacted Sony for comment.
It now looks likely that the new Dualshock and PS4 Slim will be revealed at Sony's "PlayStation Meeting", taking place next week, September 7 in New York. We also expect to see the formal reveal of the PS4 Neo, Sony's mid-generation upgrade of its current console.
