Guess Which Jedi Survived Revenge of the Sith?

The most dangerous woman in the galaxy?

Star Wars: Darth Vader #7 just added another name to the official list of Jedi who survived the events of Revenge of the Sith. And this one should be instantly recognizable to fans of the Prequels.

Warning: this article contains spoilers for Star Wars: Darth Vader #7!

Having established how Vader defeated Jedi Master Kirak Infil'a and constructed his red lightsaber, the series is now turning its attention to Vader's efforts to take control of the Inquistorius and mold them into the deadly warriors seen in Star Wars Rebels. As the Grand Inquisitor reveals in this issue, Emperor Palpatine has given him a list of Jedi who likely survived Order 66. And the highest priority target on that list is none other than Jocasta Nu, the Jedi librarian introduced in Attack of the Clones.

Neither the Inquisitor nor Vader seem to understand why Palpatine would consider Nu such an important target. But this issue offers some clues. It seems that Nu is busy creating a series of Jedi holocrons using her extensive knowledge of Jedi history and lore.

Even more intriguing is Nu's revelation that she's trying to build a new Jedi school and pass on her knowledge to a new generation of pupils. Based on what we know of the pre-Episode IV Star Wars timeline, it doesn't seem as though she'll be successful in that mission. However, is it possible that her holocron library will eventually make its way into the hands of Luke Skywalker? Will Luke use them to help build his own Jedi Academy in the aftermath of Return of the Jedi? It's too early to say now, but it'll be interesting to see whether this storyline winds up tying into the new Star Wars trilogy.
