Thor: Ragnarok Director to Cameo as Planet Hulk Character

Korg is coming back in a new way.

Taika Waititi is doing more than directing Thor: Ragnarok. He'll also portray Korg in the Marvel movie.

On Monday night, IGN attended an open house at Marvel Studios, where Waititi revealed that he's playing the rock-like alien in Thor: Ragnarok. Now while Korg technically showed up in Thor: The Dark World, the Kronan will see a makeover in the new film.

In fact, one of the reasons Korg hasn't been seen yet in Thor: Ragnarok promotions is because he's still a work in progress for the film. Though the Kronan will serve as a friend of sorts to the God of Thunder as he gets acquainted with his new surroundings.

Along with Korg, Waititi also announced that Miek will show up in Thor: Ragnarok. Meanwhile, one character who won't appear in the Marvel movie is Jane Foster, portrayed by Natalie Portman.
